They are indeed slightly warmer than normal waterproof ones, but they are not completely waterproof. Still, they are better than nothing at all. However, as always with all products, the description is simply heavily exaggerated.

It arrived today the gloves are very warm and same as described. Looks great on and easy to ride your motorcycle once on.
